    Paragon Academy of Performing Arts reflects Syed Noor's passion and commitment for improving the quality of Pakistani film. It brings together the expertise of the historic film industry and an educated vision to target excellence in film production. It responds to the public desire for restructuring of the Pakistani cinema on professional grounds and, thence, to route it to international market with pride.
    PAPA focuses on promoting our cultural values while offering quality-focused, hands on professional training at competitive prices. It does not limit professional practice to age, but to maturity of minds of its scholars.




    Introduction

    Paragon Academy of Performing Arts is located next to Shabab Studios at ten minutes drive from Thokar Niaz Baig at Multan Road. It plans to offer hourly shuttle service between Thokar and the main campus to its students. PAPA’s absolutely green and peaceful campus is spread over 85 canals of land while Shabab Studios are spread over 200 canals of land approximately. Shabab Studios comprise of four studio floors. Two floors of 100x40x40 ft2 each are dedicated to video production and the remaining two floors of 100x50x60 ft2 each are dedicated to film production. Paragon Entertainment Group (PEG), a sister concern of PAPA, is exclusively using one of these film floors for the past few years. PAPA will use these floors for student productions on need basis.
    The campus comprises of an office block, an academic block, a block dedicated to video postproduction, and just another to audio postproduction, vocals, music recording, and dubbing. It also has a multimedia projection hall with a limited seating for 30 people. One of the permanent building structures on campus is the set of a haveli, which is spread over 4 canals of land. The haveli projects the culture and the lifestyle of the people of bygone days and is a popular film set.
    Despite its proximity to the main city, PAPA combines scenic romanticism with constitutional professionalism. The chirping sounds of birds and the natural ambiance at PAPA fully relax creative minds to channelize professional practice in filmmaking. PAPA offers practice on 35mm film in addition to digital video. Its strengths include state-of-the-art archives, (non)digital library, and the latest brands of high quality equipment: AVID suite and Sound Pro.
    PAPA offers its students a chance to work with dedicated film and drama professionals and celebrities. It introduces hands-on practice on real projects from the film and television industries. It commits commendable backup, plenty of credits, and extensive showreels to its shining students to hit the job market. PAPA and its faculty are committed to the mission of revolutionizing the Pakistani film. This commitment to revival of the Pakistani film industry combines collaboration with the film academies from Morocco, Iran, Korea, Sri Lanka, U.K., and U.S.A. This milestone marks the beginning of a new era.
