Pakistan’s talented
director Shehzad Rafique’s next big project and upcoming Lollywood film ‘Ishq
Khuda’ is gearing up for a global screening. The film will have its world
premiere in Toronto, Canada on May 18, 2013 as part of the activities lined up
at PIFF the Punjabi International Film Festival (PIFF).
Film’s lead star
Meera was at the PIFF 2013 press meet at Mississauga’s Living Arts Centre and
she introduced the film to the Canadians. The PIFF event was attended by
celebrities including Harry Baweja apart from others including Pakistani TV
star Bushra Ansari as well. Mississauga’s mayor Hazel was also present at the
colourful launch ceremony.
‘Ishq Khuda’ post
production is underway in India and Shehzad Rafique is leaving no stones
unturned when it comes to quality standards. The film is produced by Shafqat
Chaudhry and Haji Arshad Mehmood and has Shaan, Wiam Ammar Dahmani, Meera,
Ahsan Khan and Saima in the cast. It’s slated for an Eidul Fitr 2013 grand
release.
